This whole crazy business started sort of unintentionally. I have always had a love of baking and sharing tasty treats with friends and family. I enjoy trying out new recipes and altering them to make them my own. One Thanksgiving we were scheduled to have dinner with my husband’s family. Since I would not be joining them, my own brothers and sisters requested that I make extra pies for their gatherings as well. Soon many friends were doing the same. They no longer wanted to wait for the holidays to enjoy fresh homemade pies so I got requests for a pie of the month club too. It all snowballed from there. Friends of friends, teachers, people I would meet in doctors offices, grocery stores, etc. were asking to be on my mailing list.
We now have a respectable following and this has become more of a dream job than a hobby. Thanks to all my loyal pie fans my amazingly supportive husband and I have been able to create our own business. Sweet P’s Bakery is a labor of love and we are honored to share it with you.
We are located in the Sacramento valley and are blessed to have a wonderful variety of fresh produce nearby pretty much year round. We use real butter, cream, natural flavorings and whenever possible fresh, local ingredients. Apples from Machados orchard in Auburn or Apple Hill in Placerville, lemons from local trees and even Guittard and Ghirardelli chocolate made in the bay area.
Our goal is to ensure that you as the customer receive only top quality products along with quick, friendly service.
